How shitty was your first system?

This thread will talk about not just our first, but our WORST systems we've ever owned.

My first one was a birthday present when i was 18.

Two jensen 10" XS in a jensen bandpass box

some 4 channel jensen amp

jensen headunit

stock speakers, but i added 4 tweeters. 2 in each pillar (i have no idea why) and it was ghetto as hell. u could see the wires running up the pillar, and the clear scotch tape over the tweeters to keep them in place

First one when I was 16(6 years ago)...low level polk 2-ways all around, 2 10" polk dx subs, bazook ela1500 sub amp, upper level sony HU at the time...not terrible, but not great either.

my first was bad. p. miller subs. i did have an xtant amp though to my credit. my 2nd was the worst though. after getting my equip. stolen, i had a sony cd player, a lanzar amp running 2 aiwa house speakers.

Was 3 years ago.

Had some old *** JVC HU from like 1997 that I got for free. The kid I got it from didnt have the mounting sleeve so we just duct taped it to the top of the dash on my car. Left the stock speakers in, and I had 2 12in "Max Power!" subs in a box from bestbuy with the sony "1000 watt!!!" amp from walmart lol. Sounded like shit, but I thought it was the best.

lol mine was a rather large one for a first system, i had 4 10 inch crunch drive series subs in a sealed box, powerd off a lanzar 2000 watt 2ch amp, with a optmia xover, a crunch 10v line driver, sony cd changer and sony tape deck, 2 sets of kicker 6x9s on rear dash , 1 set of kicker 6.5s in rear doors, 1 set of kicker 6.5 in front doors and 4 tweets on the dash, kicker 6.5s were powerd off a parymid amp diont member the power of it tho and 6x9 and tweets were off the head unit, it was a ghetto install being my first and done myself, but it was loud (at the time 10 years ago) and it was in a 85 pontiac bonieville

lets not forget the cool *** green rope light i had going around the roof that when on looked as if i had pot leaf lights all the way around (the glow looked like pot leafs) and like 6-8 strobe lights , but i did have 2 batts in the car ....

lol dont feel to bad. i had been out of the stereo scene for quite awhile until one night i went to a club with a friend of mine. he had the exact same thing. well. maybe not exact.. but audiobahn subs/audiobahn bandpass. its what got me back into stereos lol.

my first system is what i got now except i had a lil pioneer 10 but i got a old *** pioneer deck with a wash rag wrapped around it an stuck in the dash with a big *** hole over it from takin out the original lol some "slightly better than stock" rear 6.5s and a 2" tweeter in the right front cupholder, a pioneer 6.5 in the middle cup holder and 2 blown door speakers lol
