How old is your hearing?

my computer speakers won't play them frequencies but I like to think my hearing is pretty **** good...I could pick up the high pitched noise a tv emits from anywhere in my house...so if a tv was on and muted at the other end of my house I could tell...

22khz. Some of my CRTs can make me irritable after long (8hrs+) exposures. Otherwise high freq stuff doesn't hurt me unless, well, it's loud. It has been said by my peers I'm quite sensitive to mid-highs and practically immune to lows.

hmm thats true, i should probably check again with speakers that are designed to play the whole range of frequencies cause i dont know how good these "coby" headphones are

I could either hear it, or hear my speaker trying and making something. It was faint, so very well could be. But I am the same with TV's. I cane home at night and could hear a tv on across the house on an different story. Was stuck on an aux input with no source.
