How old is this sub?

Are there any signs that i could look for that could lead me to think that this sub has been used for a while. Its a 12" Fi Q, and he says it just got broken in. I haven't received it yet, but what should i look for? Or does it not really matter how old it is, unless i power it up and listen for blown coils, etc...

The same thing for amps as-well if anyone can answer that too. Do i open the case and look for anything in particular?

People buy used electronics all the time, if you havent noticed this site has a pretty big classifieds section full of used items.

im no expert but i would ffeel how stiff it is .. but in my experience a subwoofer that is good and broke in it gets louder ..

if it's only one, i think you can hear it. Of course that was my experience with the RF. It could've just had a shitty coil but not blown
