How old is everyone here?

I am 18 and will be 19 in about 5 months. I have been into carpentry and electronics since I was 15 but didn't get into car audio until just recently. I use my carpentry background to make sub boxes and the electronics helps with doing all the lights and other car accessories. Now that I am in college, I am working on my degree but have a load of down-time to contemplate the system I will never be able to afford. Hey, I'm a dreamer...

Off note: I live right on the Mexico-US border and drinking age is techically 18 down there. But you see kids as young as 8 with bottles of cheap tequila or 40s. I don't drink but I just want to include that because of the other posts.

i'm 18 and i have been into car audio for about 3 years. i bought the car after last summers job, and after this summer i finally have some money to put the system in. unfortunately i bought a sony cdm-x610 receiver before i knew much about car audio, but despite all the crap talked about sony it has treated me fairly well.

Been into it for about 3 years. Became addicted when i got my 1st pair of 12"s. (last year). I'm thinkin i'm gonna be an audiophile for life.

nope. . i think it is because i like to argue. and i also know a lot, for my age, stuff like car audio "sticks to me like glue" it just stays in my head.

Im 19, iv been into car audio since I was 15. Ever since I heard the first boom and did my first install iv been hooked, most likely for life!!! Im 27. Got into stereos going to an audio shop at 14 and listened to some bass then when I got a car at 16 got my 1st system a nice kenwood deck and a crap box with two twelves heh. We all learn dont we.

i'm 16 and got my license like 2 months go and now all i want is bass, could care less what kind of sub i get. i only have 15". its not installed yet cause im trying to find a place to install it for cheap and quality.

I am 25 now and have been into building things and electronics since I was about 7 or 8 years old when I was big enough to help my dad wire a dentists office. Built my first "home stereo" out of some spare plywood when my portable boom box got cracked in half using the internal parts from it and the speakers at around 10years old. (with no help) Ok it was nasty lookin but worked! I have been into audio and music most my whole life. When i turned mobile at 15yrs old so did my sound. Been doing it ever since. Competed for a few years at end of high school and first years of military. Went to Air Force where guess what? I worked on radio equipment! LOL Out of military now since '99 rockin and rolling and finally getting back onto the serious scene after god knows how many cars and installs.

One of the old men in the business I guess?! LOL

i am 33 been doing this for 11 years i think this is my last system? not !!! ilove music i love rockford iwill do this till they come up with something better.

Rockford? And you've been doing this for 11years? LOL Sorry I had to pick @ ya tho I dunno ya. I am just one of those hardcore Rockford blows and only got a name because they sposnored Mark Fakuda back in the day to create the worlds loudest system.....and since then have not been able to come close. Just me. Keep the systems comming tho I am only givin ya shiat.

no offense taken everyone has brands that they like and ones they dislikes. as long as my s---t sounds good i dont care what anyone thinks its my dollar !!!!!
