17 now just bought moms car (mazda 323 hatch) sony 10", 4 channell amp, sony splits, Clarion H/U 138.12Db 40Hz doesn't seem that loud i guesed only 130Db oh well i must be going deaf

i'll be 19 on the 4th. i'm pretty much just getting into this because i had a ford ranger and didn't want to put any effort into getting anything but the deck in. i got a cadillac in april so i've been planning to get the stuff i need.

I'm 18, turnin 19 soon, been into it for about a year. also curious, few guys in here have said for 5 years and such, roughly making them 13/14 when they got into car audio, just curious about how old u have to be over their to drive cars? over here we gotta be 17...

heh, 18 over here to legally drink, and legally club, 17 to drive by yourself, 16 and 6 months to drive with a person on their open licence, and ur not considered an adult by insurance companies till ur 21, so bascially gotta pay high insurence till ur 21, and at the cinima's 14 u gotta start paying adult fairs. buss 14 as well. um, think thats about it for the age thingys. wat r all of urs?

Here in the communist wealth of Virginia. 16 to drive by yourself as long as you have taken drivers education. 21 to drink. Same way with the insurance. 14 for learners permit, (must drive with someone over 18 with a valid license) 16 for full license...

although this is changing very very shortly, im not sutre what its cahnging too...

I think it has changed, but when I was that age, you could get your license the day you turned 16, I don't think you had to have driver's ed, not sure tho. And I don't know about guns. I was going to buy a handgun, but I decided against it b/c:

1. the coolness factor would wear off pretty quick

2. don't want to accidently kill someone and spend 25 yrs with bubba

3. don't have any idea how much a gun costs, but it would prolly be 100-200 at least and that could go toward my system

I'm 34 years old and i'm in car audio since i was 15 and hooked into electronics since i was 21 man I think i'm gettin old but I feel good about what I'm doing well being around for so long makes me happy.
