U R AN R-TARD!More output as far as what?? Numbers?? Don't see many people runnin AQ's, and, OR winning comps with em... like ever
Listen to the man^^^ He knows what he's talking about. I would do the AQ's anyday, can't beat their customer service! If you are on a tight budget, you should check out the AQ SD2.5c. It's about a 100 bux cheaper than an HD3c, and sounds a little better. On small power, it's just as loud as an HD3c.
The AQ will yield more output when you feed it more power. The more power you feed them the louder they get. Type R's are good subs but the HDC3 is capable of more output. As Jeremiah said you sound as though you would be better suited for SDC2.5 rather than HDC3.I thought the hdc3 would completely tear apart a type r...but i'm hearing so many mixed opinions. Everyone agrees that the sq will be better on the hdc3, but off the same power I'm hearing mixed things in regard to spl...

I would take type-r's over the sdc2.5's, but that's just my opinion.Okay, first off sorry for all the questions. Didn't realize there were this many alternatives.
I looked in to the sdc2.5's, but they appear to only be available in dual 4 ohms setups. Is this correct? Then I would have the aq1200 wired to 2 ohms, which would run my sdc2.5 at about 600 watts. This doesn't seem very efficient to me, but what do I know. This would be louder than a type R off of 1000 watts at 1 ohm?
