how many white people cut their f-150 bed?

I covered mine in fiberglass resin...bondo is the company. You can get it at autozone, pep boys or whatever. All you'll need is 1 quart. I had a friend with an air chisel and grinder do mine. If you can find one of those pnemuatic scissors (don't know what they're actually called) that would work the best.

use a sawzall, 4" grinder, or jig saw to cut it. Mark it out with tape or chalk line or sharpie and cut away. Took maybe an hour to cut mine and fully brace the back wall

hummm, sounds easy. what did you do 2 dress up where you cut. or did you leave sharp metal edges. because he has a 2005 crewcab and i dont think it would show anyway if we did that

go to google and search accordian boot.. or go to a topper factory and get the boot that goes around the cut through

Do what Tnt said, then you can smooth everything out with a file, then put the accordion boot on with 3M adhesive, and caulk around it too. For his bed cover leaking, I used a little silicone wherever I saw a gap between the frame of the cover and the bed.
