How many watts?

So I have a Blazer, lookin' to get a new system, but I don't want to get a better alternator or battery yet. My alt. is 105 amps. While my battery is 600 amps when running and 500 at idle. I'm about to do the Big 3, after that, how many watts would I be able to run in my car safetly?

I don't know mcuh about the BIG 3, but from what I can guess it involves the alternator, battery , and the power wire from the battery to the amps.

WB

well i cant give u a exact answer..but i rub 1.0 the big 3 a optima yellow and a 200 amp alt and about 2800 wts rms.and and my car dips into the 9.5-10volt rang if i had to say somewere around...1000-1500 ish shold be ok...iam not sure tho

Yeah. I was planning on running around maybe 1200 watts rms. I just want to double check before I blow something up, lol.

I am going to run 0 gauge wire for the big 3 and for my amps as well.

I would probably do 1000rms 1500rms at the absolute most. I know with my old cougar I was able to run a Memphis ST1000D and had very little to no dimming at all and that was with 4 gauge and no Big 3 done so you should be able to get away with a little more then that with Big 3.

I ran 1100w on 110A. Had a bigger battery, but it was old. Surprisingly it ran w/o much trouble at all. Before the 110A I had a 75A in the same car, exact same set up...not pretty.

You should be good up to 1k or so. Much beyond that you could run into trouble.

OUCH

With the big 3 done and a decent battery, you could run a good 1krms without issue. Just remember, the more you push your chances, the harder its going to be on your electrical, and the higher the risk gets when it comes to damaging electrical components.

if done right, you can get quite loud on little power.
