installing with stock boss questions

I just got a new pickup (2003 ex cab silverado) and I have a few questions,

1. How hard is it to install a new h/u while keeping the stock boss speakers and factory amp (for the time being until I get some comps.)

2. Is it possible to do #1 and add a sub and amp?

I have never seen a stock Chevy with a Boss system?

lol, yea wrong name.

you can with a hi/lo converter.

lol sorry, im still pretty tired. Is the hi/lo converter like a line out converter? I've hear they're not the best quality.....

I believe you need the PAC OS2 adapter
