how many watts??

I have a 93 F150 single cab and wanna put a 12 behind the seat but i'm kinda clueless and was wondering how many watts RMS would be a good amount for 1 12 behind the seat in a truck?

I'm not sure on what sub yet, i just want something thats gonna sound nice. I love rap n hip hop music so i listen to alot of stuff with tons of bass.

Well it's impossible to tell you what RMS you'll need without a sub.

Each vehicle will sound different so it's hard to say what will sound good in your truck. 600W may be loud in one vehicle with a certain setup and sound completely different in another.

Do you have a pricerange in mind for a sub?
