How many watts will 12 ga. handle?

Just curious what quality 12 gauge wiring can handle as far as wattage. I have some stinger HPM 12 guage that I plan on running 1000 watts through.

12g can in no way handle 1000 watts lol, like 200 i would think, your gonna need at least 4 gauge for that

Just for future reference, you need to know the current that you will run through the wire to size it correctly. Only knowing the wattage really does not tell you if it is ok.

I even split it into two. Im running 2 Adassa warlords off of it.

Splitting it is a good thing. You just cut the current in half for each piece.

yeah I have even used 8 ga as speaker wire,but 12 is fine...
