i ran about 1000 rms with a 700 cca bat and a stock alt( this it was 110amp?). no big three. lights dimmed pretty bad at full tilt.

If you got 0 gauge with a battery in back running to your amp..you can get away with like up to 1500 maybe even 2000w(2000w would be tearing the shit out of your alt for sure though).

1000w with no electrical upgrades and 4 gauge = blown fuses and dimmage unless you never want to really beat....

1000w amp with 0 gauge all around- no batt= doable

MY ideal setup for 1000w.

0 gauge all around, hc1400 or similar small batt(optima yellow or red would suffice) in the back with minimum of 2 gauge off it. Probably

I ran 1100 in an '88 Ford w/a 75A alt with an 8 ga from alt output to batt (+).

Did fine while drving - some dimming.

Idled at around 12v though.

Ran that way for 2 years and the alt finally died at >200k miles.

Put in a 110A and it ran perfectly. Never

equip in sig, 135a stock jeep alt. yellow top under the hood, drops at idle to 12ish holds nice around 13-14 while driving. in the market for batts tho

off a stock 90 amp alt and extra batteries+big 3 stereo out lived the car. 2 PPI-4200 AM's ran to 2 ohms each channel, 1 ppi 2150AM ran to 2 ohms and a 2200M.

I've got an Alpine 3553 running 6 gauge wire, and a RF 700.s on 4 gauge (seperate wires) in an otherwise stone stock Camry... No big three, Regular ol Die Hard batt... No dimming, and no other problems of note...

Exact same setup in 2 different (2000, and 2006) GMC trucks, and no problems there either...

Admittedly, its nothing massive, but hey...

The Kicker barely even got WARM beating the piss out of a pair of MX's. It was very efficient.

Had a buddy to run 4 kicker zx1000s and 8 kicker l7 12 off of 6 yellow tops and a stock 120amp alt it did a 154.7 and played music for hours and hours with no prob.

well, I got 3000 watt rms worth of amp on a accent 99stock electrical. I ain't using it at once coz everything in the car shut down //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif massive voltage drop and i didn't have those with 400 watt less...

big *** under the hood battery (around 800ca) nothing else... i'm waiting on my next car soon before putting some money on electrical

had to add another battery in back in my 05 fronty. it has a 115 amp alt. running 1200 watts for sub and 100x2 for fronts. don't have any dimming anymore.
