How many watts have you ran off stock eletrical...?

Im running an IA 20.1 on stock electrical but i have gain at about half and dont turn it up. Im waiting on a batt.

my dads setup has a dual 600 watt amp running almost the hole car..mids and higs also the mtx4500 woofer...and by only being 600 watt its dimming the shit out of his lights when he plays it full tilt..and yes i said dual...the dual amp he has its preety good..hes had it almost 2 years now and havent given him any problems..

I ran a US amps 2000 in a 1987 chrysler 5th avenue. I believe the alt was 80 amp. My lights dimmed a little, but I never had any issues with it. I upgraded the battery under the hood, but it wasn't anything special.

Do '04 Taurus' have the standard 130A Motorcraft alt?

That's a pretty strong stock alt for a car like that.

I have a 130A in my '00 Contour running about 1400w and it works real well. I have some dimming at high volume but that's as bad as it gets.

The only leg of the "big 3" I've done is an 8 ga from the alt to the batt (+).
