How many times have you been pulled over?

about 10 in the last 3 years, 8 times for having 5% window tint on the sides, (not allowed in MI) the other 2 for speeding, never gotten a ticket tho, and when its for the tint i just say i was about to take it off b/c its hard to see out of, and the cop always lets me go, knock on wood.

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif if she woulda jumped out saying that. I woulda been like nah i have to call the cops bullshit acting sober......... then you wouldnt have been out $400 haha.
i was thrilled to death gettin off with a $400 bill rather than being at fault for a car accident, being charged with a dui and every other traffic law i broke, and a drug charge, and having to pay to fix the other skanks car. shit, ill handed her the cash wish a big effin smile on my face.

and it was very obvious i was drunk. even after sitting there talking..she told me i was drunk before i i told her i had been drinking too

I'm 34 - had my license since I was 15 (Louisiana allowed such things back then)

I couldn't even begin to tell you how many tickets I got for various things when I was a teenager.

Speeding, too many people in the car (I think the actual citation for that one stated exceeding safe passenger limit or some such silliness), no brake lights, careless&reckless operation, exhibition of speed (drag racing....my 1st car had a whole bunch of GO for a 15 yr old to be driving...) etc etc etc.

Since I moved out of home and consequently started paying for my own insurance coverage (and spending 3 years only being able to get "high risk" coverage at incredibly exhorbitant rates) I've settled down considerably.

Do I still speed?

Yes. I wouldn't have bothered to pay $300+ for a good radar detector if not...but I'm no longer dangerous like I was when I was still a teen.

Back then I reckoned I was invincible.

I know better now. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Well, im in the fast lane, the middle lane is congested, and after about 1 min driving & looking for a spot to pull over I cant find an opening. Mind you my signal is on all this time, it feels like an eternity since the lights went on, im panicking because the cop probably thinks im trying to run, and to make matters worst everyone in the car is dying laughing and the guy in the passenger seat decides its a good time to smoke some weed so he lights up a bowl... while the cop is behind me... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif now im really losing my mind.
what are people thinking sometimes? cops are pulling us over at this moment, so ill smoke some weed.

As if I didnt have enough to worry about at that moment //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif It took me about 30min to calm down and fully understand what just took place. I let him have it after that though.

The cops walk over and I put the window down, smoke pours out and it smelled like pinefreshbeertaboccoweed. He asked me wth I was doing, im still panicking and offered him a cigarette. Mentioned I was going 92 (I was going 110+ so I wasnt about to argue), he ran all our IDs and to my disbelief let us go... just a warning. Im sure they let me go because they were probably laughing their ***'s off at what happened but I still dont understand why. Not complaining though.
I have more, but enough typing.

3 times in 3 years no tickets

1) 1978 oldsmobile delta 88, driving 35 in 25, warning because there was no sign

2)1978 oldsmobile delta 88, left of center, written warning but I still cant believe he pulled me over. it was 50 feet from my house.

3) 1988 ford crown vic, 74 in a 55, verbal warning - later found out that my speedometer was way off.

I was paying $325 month for my 1991 RX7, then sold that and got a 1993 Del Sol and my insurance was still $240 month
I pay $700 every 6 months now on my 2003 Protege so it still sucks:(
i pay $1500 every 6 months for my 02 dakota //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm 25, been pulled over only 3 times in 9 years, one of them resulting in a ticket. All were for speeding (two for going 10 over, those were warnings, and one for 15 over, $110 ticket).
