How many subs can be connected on to 1 mono amp?

I wanted to put a couple of these 10" Alpine SWS-1043D, to a Alpine MRP-M1000.

I have heard that some people have attached 4 10" to this amp, and i wanted to do the same.

Please help, would really appreciate the reply //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

those are dual ohm subs, right?

if they are dual 4 ohm subs, you are going to have a final load of 0.5, 2, or 8 ohms

if they are dual 2 ohm subs, your final load will be 1 or 4 ohms
