How many run 4 speakers off a 2 channel amp?

Just curious to see if people do this, I did it back in the day with a Profile amp, and that thing never quit on me, and I dont think it was 2 ohm stable, anyhow just curious!

We do it in boats all the time. Doesn't make much sense in a car, unless you're hell-bent on using a 2-channel that you already own. 4-channels aren't much more expensive, and install parts are the same, additional labor costs are minimal.
