How many ohms?

I have two 4ohm svc subs (orion xtr, 250wrms each)

I was thinking of getting the JBL GTO601.1 amp.

580 watts RMS x 1 channel at 2 ohm

424 watts RMS x 1 channel at 4 ohms

Does that mean I can run apprx:

290 watts x 2 @ 2ohm for my setup?

No, you couldn't run 2 x @ 2ohm unless you have 4 subs.

You could run them at 1 x @ 2 ohm though.

yes that amp will work just fine.
