xbox converter help

Aight. I currently have my xbox sitting on the floor board behind the front seat. I have it connected to an inverter plugged into the cigarette outlet. I wanting to know if there is a way to install all of that in the trunk and be able to turn it all on from the front seat. I think I read a tutorial some where that showed me how to turn the xbox on from the xbox remote but how can I get the inverter to kick on when i start the car?

Just hardwire the inverter like a HU with an ignition lead. and if the remote works use it if not toggle switch it.
