How many ohms? Rainbow cs265 profi plug

Curious to know this because I was wondering if the Zapco DC350.2 would be a good amp to run with these components?

They are 4ohm speakers. If you're running them passive, give them 150-200 watts rms a side, and they will sound like they are supposed to. If you are using an active crossover, give the CAL26 tweeters 50 watts rms each, and the phase plug mids 100-130watts rms each, and they will sound real nice.

I've had this set before, and I ran them active. It's a really nice set after you get them tuned right.

Its 2ch 170watts @ 2 ohms but with 4 ohms its only 100 watts?

No problem, man.

Yeah, 100watts a side passive will be fine for them, but sometime down the road if you can pick up an amp for those that'll put 150-175 watts a side on them, you'll really notice and like the difference in sound with more power.

Would giving them 180 watts a side (their maximum rating) be overkill or not a safe thing to do with the components?

For reference I am looking at the DC360.4 amp from Zapco, when bridged, at 4ohms produces 180 watts each for 2 channels.

I would be running the maximum rated watts for the speakers,

but as long as everything was not completely out of tune when playing real loud, this shouldn't lead me to any problems, correct?

Correct, you should be fine with giving those 180w a side, especially clean power from a Zapco amp like the one you referenced. You can always tune it by ear, and if you find that you're hearing a little distortion at 180w, then you can always just adjust the gain down a little bit on the amp, and you should be fine.
