I typically dont even ask car audio questions on this site. But, i figuerd that I could use ca.com's opinion.

Im relatively stuck between which set of components that I want.

Its between the kicker SS series and Pioneer 720 Prs's.

Any opinions or comments will be welcomed.

depends. The Kickers are loud, bright and over exagerated while the pioneers are smoother and cleaner, not as bright. so what do you want, loud or clean?

i have heard bad things about the kicker comps. i would look into the pioneers and also look into the Phoenix Gold RSD's as well. i have a set of RSD's and i love them.

depends. The Kickers are loud, bright and over exagerated while the pioneers are smoother and cleaner, not as bright. so what do you want, loud or clean?

I prefer a strong midbass presence with smoother mids and I cant stand really harsh tweeters.

X2 or the RSD's. they have sick mid-bass and nice smooth midrange and highs.

They are both pretty good for the money, can't go wrong with either... but I personally prefer the PPI 356cs.
