How many of you have blown a RF T2

I havent blown a T2 but was not really im-pressed with them, in the right box a P3 will get louder.

haha my buddy had 2 t2's off like 1000 a piece and they both blew. he is retarded and was probably clippin the amp but still. he was loud for like a week. even spend hella money on a blow thru and everything..

uh no I just wanted to hear an explanation from you as to why you think that way? name one woofer that would sound better at 3000-3500 rms daily besides an lms ultra. You prob haven't even heard an ssx.

I even have a clipp lite on my dash connected to the Crown IOP circutry

so I know for a fact my signal was perfectly clean

the T2 is the only sub I have fried in this manor on this set up and I have

a basement full of different brands that I can put in at will

I just finished a 1 hout thump-a-thon with the two JBL W10gti subs

at full tilt and not a problem

gave the working T2 to a buddy..he can have his fun with it for how ever

long it lasts

I found the same thing....

with two P3 12" subs in a common chamber tuned at 30hz and with the box

facing forward I hit 144.9db on the new TL with the mic 12" from the pillar and

3" off the dash

with the T2's in a 35hz common chamber I was topping at 143.7db with the same

mic placement....I did gain 2db by turning the box to face the drivers side

I also put a single 12" Alpine Type R in the trunk....woofer facing the drivers

side..port shooting forward and hit 143db with the same mic placement

i was using a T2 12" off a t40001bd at 1 ohm did not blow

but i still hate em

COOL, another RF thread. I have 2 T212D2's in my truck each powered by a T1000.1bd and so far I'm very happy. I realize that their are stronger subs out their but for now the T2 are Taking care of business. With my amps rated at 1500rms I would prefer a 1500rms sub, maybe a T3 in the future
