no carbon fiber, but that would be quite the show piece eh? i wouldnt mind a nice coat of CF on my box. can i get this stuff at fiberglast.com? i would be very happy if i could get my hands on some carbon fiber\clear resin...I use a west systems brand quick drying medium epoxy ( marine grade epoxy ) I get it locally from a boat supply yard. I buy it buy the five gallon drum/ 1 gallon catalyst. And it runs me around $100 depending upon who's working at the boat store that day. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifI get my kyntex from fiberglast.com, and everytime I order it I always get a couple yards more than what I ordered. And yep woven then the mat and cloth are actually stitched together. It's really easy to work with. Just don't try to make sharp curves with it. It's kind of difficult to work into extreme corners.
Clear resin huh, working with carbon fiber are we //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Clear casting resin is what your after then. It dries crystal clear and pretty hard. People use it for craft projects and what not. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
