i cant explain all of it,im an00b as well, but i believe the pressure from the cone pushes down and blows air through those small holes between basket and motor. and acts like a "pressure" cooler for the coils

Not an uncommon cooling design. Still does not take away from the fact it has no rear pole vent.

From what Ive understood, the lack of a pole vent is due to the extremely tight gap in the MT, which lessens the efficiency of pole venting. I may be wrong, but that's what Ive read. *shrug*
