How many cubes in explorer?

The newer explorers have third row seating my box is 12 cubes i have a 99 mountaineer.

we are comparing three very different cars here.. the new early 00 explorers have more room than the mid-late 90s explorers, which have more room than the early 90s explorers.. i think 9 cubes ported will be pushing it in an old school explorer.. cause 9 cubes would be taking up most of the space in my style, and you have less space.

give us dimensions! then we can tell you how big of a ported box you can fit. some dimensions were given, but theyre not the same as yours... mine are like 40.5 wide (before wheel well humps in panel), liek 18ish high before the headrests, and somethin liek 30ish deep (cant remember this dimension) but either way, yours will be different cause you have a different style suv than i do.

well i know 36w x 16h x 30deep is 10cubes

if u can go alittle bigger then u should be at the 10cube mark

41w, ~41d, ~16.25h if you remove the stock padding in the rear cargo area. Thats over 13 cubes gross UNDER the window line. IIRC above the seats 3" is ~24 tall? - 20+ cubes

you have shittons of room to work with.

that is if you take out your 3rd row, my explorer doesnt have it.

well my box is around 41" wide x 39.5" deep x 15" tall. Its 7.25 cubes @ 37Hz. I could go a little bit more if I wanted to but I didn't see the need for my first box.

i tried 4 15's(300rms per) common chamber 13gross and 2 15's(1200rms per) sound way better and go deeper than 4. I think it sounded better because more cube space per sub.
