I've just always been told caps disperse energy when there is a big bass line that draws a lot of energy and then they are empty and need to charge back up which puts a big drain on your electrical because now you're recharging this cap while powering the system at the same time while batteries disperse energy slowly and not all at once. Its been said that for competition use caps can be somewhat beneficial when you're burping and just need quick energy but for daily use they are more harm than good. So I guess they both store energy yea but what they do with that energy is kinda different. If he is getting the proper alt and wire to sustain a charge for the batts he wants then why would them being drained completely even come into play?
