How many amps?

Well im going to be getting some new 6.5s and they are 150rms. They are SVC 8ohm. The 2 different amps i could use would be Sundown Audio SAX100.2 or the SAX100.4. Specs can be found at:

I just find the fact of 8 ohm speakers is weird... But whatever. How many/which amp would i need to run 12 of these speakers?

Im running all Sundown amps, and im wondering how many of either the SAX100.2 or SAX100.4 i will need to run 12 of the eminence.

I can do impedances with one channel like on subs, but anything like this still confuses me. I only am running Sundown because i am part of Team Sundown and i just love the amps... They're so sexy..

You have 6 pairs right? Meaning 6 right and 6 left. I would do three SAX-100.4 for this setup if you want to "fully" power each driver. Each SAX-100.4 would power 4 of the Eminence woofers (2 per side) at 4 ohms per channel, bridged on both sides. This would deliver a bit more than 150 RMS per speaker for you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If you wanted to cut cost and use less power, which you could EASILY do with that many extremely efficient speakers. Three SAX-100.2 would give you a solid ~65 watts per speaker. You really don't need the power from the three SAX-100.4 setup unless you just wanted to.

it will be 12 eminence line arrays on 3 100.2s... MAYBE 100.4s if i feel like it at the time.
