how long should my rcas be?

i was told i would need 3 sets of rca's to wire a cadence 150x2 amp to my pg components and a cadence 1000x1 amp to 2 type r's in the trunk . i got 3 sets of knukonceptz that are 13ft long but now i dont think that will be lonng enough.

should i order 3 sets that are each 20ft long? if so i only need the 2 channel rca cables right? also do i need to get a y-adapter ?

as long as it takes to reach your amps. If your HU is setup to use 3 sets, I would go ahead and use 3.

Something for you to measure...you only need two sets of the two-channel ones, no Y-adapters needed.

It also depends highly on where you're routing your RCA's. If you go from the HU right down the center to the trunk it might only take 8 or 10', but if you go underneath the dash and along the side it might take ~15' or more.

Mine are 17' also. I had plenty of slack going down the side of my old car (Tbird). They're going down the center of my Contour now and I wish I had 12's.
