How long does a recone from RE take?

Notes arent going to do you any good.
You were told that a "tech" would call back because I wanted to talk to you. I tried calling you 4 times during the past week.

I wanted to know exactly how you wanted the sub built, but since I couldnt get you to answer.... I built it how I felt it needed to be.

I am not sure you are thinking of me, cause neither my house number nor cell have been called. Sorry for any inconvience I just wanted to know what the status was on my order. How did you build it though just wondering. Chief

 
I noticed that too. I called once and my girlfriend called twice and this is over a span of two or three weeks so I "assumed" that would be exceptable. And how did you build it back up?

 
What options are offered?

When I called about a recone, nothing was mentioned about different ways for it to be built..

Never heard of that, anyone else ever been presented with options on how they want it rebuilt?

 
When a company is really busy it can take about a month (why I still don't know) ... My avalanche 18 took almost 1 month to get back to me.

I only called him (chad) once cause I know he's busy. ANYTHING over a month and I'd be kinda wondering wtf....

Chad's customer service is 2nd to none, I've never dealt with RE, but from what I just read, I'm scared .. I would hate to be told "don't call again" about a subwoofer I PAID for...

Now if he was giving you a freebie, then HELL YEA dont bug em and let 'em get it done

but if it was'nt free...

 
ya... i hate giving someone a good chunk of my hard earned money, they get lied too ( called you when you say they didnt ) then have that person give you an attitude. thats not how a bussiness should run. i can understand if someone says we are busy and just dont have the man power, but for f**k sake. thank god he aint telling me lies with an attitude. me personally... i dont go for that s**t.

 
Since 70% percent of the people on here would recommend the XXX I guess a wait is worth it. Didnt really think I was hurting anyone by calling and making sure everything was ok. Soundsplinter has good customer service, imo.

 
Umm... They do have good customer service. I told them what I wanted to do and they actually recommended I not go with there 15 and go with a different one. The guy(not sure who) even suggested a few.

 
i dont understand why everyone here loves RE so much and has such a hugh hard on for them. from what i have heard, it sounds like there customer service sucks poorly. then again, i have never owned an RE and there is the whole move that ive been hearing about since i got into caraudio. there are other companies out there and i have heard great things about there customer service too (soundspliter is a good example).
