How long does a recone from RE take?

So I sent my XXX 15 to RE about three weeks ago for a recone and I received a couple calls saying that when the tech calls they will send it back. I have called a few times to see when I would be getting it back and they just keep on saying to wait for the tech to call. Does it normally take this long or am I being impatient.

Id call multiple times a day. When you call, find out who you talk to......

Theres no reason they should have it for three weeks, and cant even return your calls. Why would the tech need to call you anyway?

When I called to get my rma number they gave me the impression that it would be sent back the next day.

take notes too. i find that it helps to take down notes and times and dates and what they said. when you start telling them everyones name in the office and what time and date and what they all told you, they usually wont f**k with you. i think it scares people when you do that.

Seems like since they move to las vegas, things have slowed down to a crawl with them. Maybe they're just trying to catch up with orders. I have been waiting for more than 2 months for my xxx15 and they told me today that i should receive it in about 2 weeks. Good thing i have another sub in the meantime!

That sounds pretty smart. Tomorrow when I call I am going to have a pen and paper ready and get my sub back.

They moved from one part of Vegas to another.
They reconed my friends XXX in 2 or 3 days after receiving it (last Fall sometime). I guess they must be backed up.

Took under 2 weeks to ship mine out, have it reconed, and get it back.

Maybe you could answer this. I bought my sub(RExxx15) from your Canadian Distributor(audio options of canada) well over 2 months ago. I kept calling him(Chris)

and he kept telling me that he was waiting for you guys to send the sub to him. Now i called RE yesterday and they told me that they only receive an order from him july 15!!! I'm a little bit mad at him for lying to me. Just to let you know. If i knew it would took so long, I would have bought a different sub, but $600 CAN. is a lot of money! Not happy at all!!!
