id say its a pretty important thing..

up to 500 watts an ok bettery will do, 1000 watts a good bettery is needed, 2000+ you need a $250 battery for best results.

I'll have to look into my current battery.. It's after market I know, but was installed by previous owner..

id say the alt is way more important though, but thats just me ,..

i would say power is a fairly important thing when using devices that require power. might just be my screwed up common sensical ways.

correct. a decent battery will keep you from getting stranded somewhere in the winter though.

as long as your ride starts strong in the mornings, and your lights dont dim to music all the time.......your good.

but if it wont start sometimes and dims badly,

go spend $100 on a nice new strong battery.

then figure out how to stop the dimming

Here are the spec. of my battery...

CCA1- 850

CA/ MCA2- 1065

RC3 (min.)- 155

Can someone tell me what that means? please.

Also has a 14v 90a alternator.

there you go its a 90A alternator, have you done the big 3? if not id do that in 0 gauge it should help if you dont think your battery is any good go to autozone and have them check it...its free, or you could buy a group 31 battery for the front,

yea but bio-diesel vehicles dont require them, just carrots.

depends on actual draw, actual alt output at various conditions, and how the system is used.....

it's not a bad idea to charge your battery on a charger every once in a while. over time it loses it's charge and since an alternator can only maintain (at best) the status of a battery, it cannot improve it, i.e. charge it.
