How I solved my voltage drops for $91.97

im glad my truck has 2 large batteries stock //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

diesel FTW

air filters there for a reason you should have just took it easy on the vol knob until the stuff came in for your air filter not before, but it's yours we are just trying to give advice but yeah i forgot how little dirt you need to acutally damage your engine

i didnt mean it like that, but with no filter its free air comming in and too much air when the engine doesnt need it will run like shit. never tried it will try it
It will not run like shit, It will increase gas milage and sound better, maybe even have a lil more torque! Dust and dirt could ruin it though.

you are an idiot disconnect your air filter and then say different. and disconnect the entire air filter pipes, right at the throttle body and i beg to differ

wow you are seriously an idiot and anoob your engine is pulling straight hot dirty air so horrible gas mileage, second its gonna **** toomuch air the point of the air filter is to restrict airflow when not needed and then when it needs more air. It will run like pure shit now since the right amount of air is all screwed up.
Wow just plain dumb all that for a extra volt that you wont even be able to tell you added because that one volt wont do much for power anyway

Looks like your a noob too!!!!!!

I think it was a pretty good idea, and will work great once he customizes the intake.

When judging others, remember, we all try shit and learn from it!!!

A kid, stop talking shit!!! Name calling is not necessary. I've owned 2 race cars, both of which ran under 12 secs 1/4 mile. I've taken off all the restrictive air cleaners and filters, including the hood:laugh: Depending on temp, his car will run better!

this may be true but not recommended for a daily driver bro. there is a difference in a race car and a daily driven car

FYI, the ECM monitors and controls the air/fuel ratio. You won't hurt the engine by allowing it unrestricted airflow as long as the sensors and ECM are functioning properly. The cfms that actually enter the engine are limited by throttle body size. That being said, the air DOES need to be filtered to eliminate the possibilty of destroying the rings and cylinder walls of the engine.

Well yeah, Ive got the cone filter chillen here on my desk, this is my daily car so I didnt plan running it open filter like my race car. I just came back from the store to, you can really tell a "cranking power" difference when starting the car to, turns over noticably faster. Best $100 Ive spent in a while....

.... well... there was that stripper last saturday..

keep it up and get used to a lot of cracking and all sorts of noises and bangs which will be well more then 100 bucks to fix. keep it unfiltered for long and you had better keep that stripper money
