exhaust air? thats going out the back of the car. you'll be fine driving for a few days if you have to, just avoid dirt roads and puddles at all possible. this really isn't all that bad, just try to get some filtration on it as soon as you can.

Seriously lol, I was surprised when I seen how many people were feakin lol, like I said my race car runs like this 24/7, open turbo, and I havent ruined that $2500 snail yet. CAI wil be in no later than sunday

you think an air filter's purpose is to restrict air? Have you ever heard of a turbo or supercharger?

i didnt mean it like that, but with no filter its free air comming in and too much air when the engine doesnt need it will run like shit. never tried it will try it

yea i like making fun of idiots, also getting a ho alt does no good if you only have one battery and your pulling too much power and its draining that battery and the alt cant keep it charged and the vehicle running if you could just get away with a ho alt people wouldnt have batts for a reason

That would be the exhaust fumes. I guess I said it poorly. What I meant was the heat exhaust from your engine - more than likely the exhaust manifold under the hood.

You're right it probably isnt going to destroy his engine in a matter of days - but it's certainly not helping it lol

put a sock over the intake tube..zip tie it to the hose....it'll work jsut fine

DId you not read what I said? Im making a CAI, WITH filter, just relocated. I dont want no batteries inside my car, didnt want any more power wires under my carpet. If I couldnt fit this battery under the hood like I did, I would have bought a big alt.
And the cheapest dry cells I can buy around here are $200, for a blue/yellow top, and dont have as much juice as this truck battery I got

Im happy, and Im happy I wont be burning up my amp

Hell, I'll post the CAI in 2 days when my piping comes in lol
