How hard should these hit????

I am wondering how hard should my current system be hitting. I have a 1050S RF POwer amp powering 2 Power RF 12's 1000watts rms. It is not hitting as loud as I thought it would, so wodnering how hard these are to hit. I have a cap, and the subs are in a custom sealed box.

how do you have the voice coils wired? Actually first, what type of voice coils are they?

The coils are wired to produce a 2ohm load from each speaker. It is a DVC and therfore (I think) should be getting about 525 watts rms per channel.

hey i got them power hx2s {12s} and i have to 1000wt mon amps on them in a custom build to spec vent box, and i put up some high spl im currently hitting

149 on dash so if you want some thump put them suckas in a ported or vent box made to facotry specs and throw as much power u can to them i even seen some 1 have 4 1500bds on 2 15 powers but that was only for burping them at comps

There's no real way to tell untill you get them in your car and turn 'em up.
