In 1995 my first system was 4 Dr. Crankenstein 12" subs with 2 sets of Clif Designs 6.5's with a Clarion 5780 CD and the digital Clarion EQ and Audio Control x-over.

This doesnt make sense. How good was your first system? I think it should be changed to "What has been your favorite system". makes more sense. How good was your first system just doesnt cut it, u know? Most people start out with shit for stereos which is why I started that thread.

My first setup was so garbage. Pioneer DEH 650P which I still have in my car from almost 6 years ago. Great h/u. 2 Audiobahn Flame Q 12s in a prefab ported box bridged at 2 ohm on an SPL Dynamics 520 watt 2 channel (4 ohm stable bridged). I had stock 5.25 fronts and some bajillion way sony 6x9 coaxials in the back.

i had a pioneer tape deck, a profile 200w amp and a pre loaded pioneer 10" bandpass, some kenwood tweeters in the pillars and stock front/rear infinitys (nissan altima) was pretty good for SQ by my low standards, better than factory anyway.. but not loud at all
