How do you think it's going to look?

flat black would look good /serious
I was originally thinking just a solid black.

Only problem being is a lot of GP's came stock with black.

I'm wanting a black to tone down those scoops, because i don't want them being too obnoxious. And being most of my touchup/engine/interior is red/black....a nice gloss black with just a bare touch of Kandy Red would do it a good job i think //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

just paint the whole thing, and get taillights that are solid red or something instead of that mesh, i hate the mesh
Yea that's one of the big things coming in with the paint job. Niteshades on the tailights. There's a guy around with a solid black GP with niteshades'd tails and it's sexy

 
Yea? That's basically the same motor i'm running, but with the 04/05 blower.

The 97-03's aren't bad. I might buy one for a daily and put mine in the garage for some tuning

 
i almost bought an 01 gtp a few years ago
i bought a 97 gtp a couple months ago, i can drive it hard and still get 400 miles a tank, its reliable for now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif , grand prix's arent that reliable really, nickel and dime ya allot. but im satisfied, im not bragging about the speed or anything either, its a nice car for what i paid, id rather have that than a civic

yea, i heard about an issue with the oil pan that kinda helped sway me the other reason, and if i was gonna buy a new car it wasn't gonna be FWD...

i hate civics with a ****ing passion, but the newer ones with the k20's arn't bad, i hate d and b 16 blocks, and the ricers that hype them

Definately a good car for the money too. As long as you don't screw with it too much, they can be extremely reliable. How many miles does yours have on it? The only thing about the 97 GTPs is the supercharger coupler seems to go out after a while. They aren't hard to change though. You'll know when it goes out too. It'll sound like marbles bouncing around inside your snout and you'll think your S/C cams imploded on eachother!

If it goes out...you'll have to hope you've got someone who does that motor. Not because it's hard, it's real easy. But not even the dealer can get the coupler!

I know of a guy that has probably 30 of them (good) layin around his house. $12 shipped each, so LMK if that ever goes out on you. His name is Ed Morad. Anyone who has a quick GTP probably knows/has done business with him!

There's a guy out here that cruises that thinks he's tough shit in his beat to hell, fully primered, half kitted CRX, and all his speakers total have about as many watts as lugnuts on his car, and naturally he's got it as loud as it'll go everywhere. That dude, man. You probably know the type i'm talking about
