how do you strip 4 ga. wire?

I either use a razor blade and roll it around the wire, or use my linemen pliers.

Razor blade to strip, bolt cutters to cut.

Cut it with a blade and peel the insuation off.

Take any kind of cutter and cut around the wire, then cut straight down the insulation and its off. get it?

where did you guys get your crimpers though? I couldn't find crimpers for that large of a wire at any hardware store local or chainstore.

I just use a large clamp but its not as effective....

i just use regular scissors .... bolt cutters to cut
