How do you guys cut and remove sheathing on 4GA wire and larger?

How do you guys cut 4GA and 0GA wire so neatly and efficiently?
Use a razor... Before you strip off what you need cut another small peice and slide it forward with the piece you are taking off... When the small piece gets close the end leave it on and pull the bigger piece off so all the strands stay together... Then when you slip it in to a terminal it wont fray and it will push the small piece back into place as you push it in... Does that make sense?
