how do you figure subwoofer QS?

The rule of thumb says that FS/QS=EBP. How do you get QS? Most theile specs for subs dont just have QS they are listed as QES, QMS, or QTS. So how do you figure QS?

It's Qes, not Qs.

Fs/Qes = EBP

I would heed the manufacturer's advice...they were the ones that built it, after all.

Well, looking at it from a "spec" point of view: EBP puts it smack dab in the middle, the Qts sets it right on the boarder line of sealed/ported, but the Fs is a little high and it has relatively poor excursion capabilities. So, all in all, it would probably "work" sealed, but better results would be had with a ported enclosure.
