How do you cut and strip 1/0 gauge wire?

utility knife works great to strip wire. make an incision down the middle of the wire, then just make a small groove around the rubber. Then just take the wire jacket and strip it off with your hands.

utility knife ist all that great for cutting though.

an axe.

i use some 18" bolt cutters. you can prolly get them real cheap at a harbor frieght.

and i just cut a little with them twice around the rubber about 1\2" down and then pull the rubber off to strip the end.

i can do it in like 45 seconds at absolute most.

would be kinda cool to see, how bout i use that for sodering(SP?) should make it a quick job
