hey guys... im kinda new to the car scene and know absolutely nothing. I have a 1998 civic 2dr coupe. I went out and bought a wiring kit for my car along with an amp and a 10". I had the ppl at circuit city put it in cuz i am and was totally clueless. The wiring kit is only made to hold 550 watts... I am wanting to put a 1000 watt amp in. how do I do it? How did they run it under the carpet? I am also wanting to take the cover off the middle of my dash (where the A/C and stereo are) and paint it. My friend did it to his, but also said it is kinda chancy doin it. I was wondering if nebody knows a safe way to do that without screwin my car. Are there any manuals newhere to explain how the panels in my car come off? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

-sincerely,

They usually run it in the door well you could say, i guess. I **** at explaining stuff.

You have to run the wire from the battery to the trunk, only take off the pieces you need... it should be pretty easy to tell where it goes.

What size wire do you have in there right now?

if u want to know everything about your ride go to an automotive store like pep boys and ask for a hynes manuel or chilton manual it tells u how to totally dissassemble your exact car and put it together again great for not breaking stuff when u dont know what to do
