who to use and how to pack them specifically,

i sold a set on e bay and now i gottta ship em.

you can have ups pack them for you... they are cheap... or you could wrap them in blue tarps vary tightly and lots of tape... that works as well. in my days at ups and dhl i think the wheels and tires in the tarps were treated the best and always looked to be in the best shape...

x2. Expect to pay about $40 for boxes, shipping materials etc.

I shipped four rims in two boxes to NY for about $180 plus $40 in materials.

Ship FedEx and one at a time, or 2 in a box.

FedEx is cheap for heavy stuff. I shipped 60+lb packages from PA to TX for 25 bucks before using them.

GO to ups they will make 2 boxes, 2 rims in each. To ship from here to texas, it was like 135 and some change.

It depends on the size. When I ship them, I go to a local rim/tire place and get their throwaway boxes. I tape 2 of the boxes together with strapped packing tape.

I have also used the 18 x 18 x 18 U-Haul boxes and put 2 rims per box, but I double or triple-line the boxes with cardboard, and I put extra sheets of cardboard between them.
