Take car battery and put the +12v and remote wire to + on batt and - to -. Put toggle in remote wire and run signal cables and done.

because there is a big difference in boom box and some nice equipment i enjoy listening to all aspects of music clearly. but i dont think you should use car audio in the house inless you already have it and cant fit it in your car.

Just get some good home audio stuff as your car stuff won't sound that good filling a big room and normally sub boxes are tuned WAY too high for home use.

Buy a home amplifier, I have an old skool 80s yamaha home stereo amp that does 70x4 watts, ive hooked up sub boxes to it that I had laying around and was pretty loud.. newer home amps put out alot more power though

actually ive seen that done with an mtx 9500 it was pretty cool. the sub withstood it and still worked great.
