How do I get more channels in my car's TV?

I have a Kenwood KVT-915DVD head unit.

It has a TV Tuner, but I only get basic channels like ABC, NBC, CBS, etc.

First question is, in 2009, when they do the switch from analog to digital, am I going to loose my TV, if so, can I buy anything to convert it?

Second question, how can I get more channels? Can I get cable? Some kind of booster?

The channels I get now are usually fuzzy, and don't come in clear, would some kind of booster fix this?

Thanks

The only tuner antennas I see come with a tuner. I already have the tuner, but just need the antenna I guess. I see some on crutchfield, looks like a sticker with little wires running through I would stick on my glass? I might just pop into my local car audio shop and see what they have to say.

Im actually in the same boat. I am in process of getting a box, however they are only 120 volt, so that means a inverter. A small 1500 watt one will do. as far as what it will pick up then? idk. but ya, most of my local stations come in ok to bad. luckily I got the VCR. But nothing better then having Rachel Ray live on the tube baking muffins and shitttt.

Kenwood is releasing a new HU in 2009 that will have the sat link installed. so 1000's of satilite channels will be available. Hackers are all ready working on cracking it so as to get free ****.

It may be worth the wait..

btw, go here and get a coupon, then BB i belive has them for the coupons value. So basically its a free converter.

You could always get a Satellite for it. The local shop here did a friend of mine's H2 a while back with the TracVision satellite and he basically had all the channel's he had at home. It hardly ever dropped the signal. But I doubt you want a big satellite mounted to your roof.
