How can you possibly wire this amp in this design??

Im trying to help a friend out (lady friend) by working on her new toyota tacoma, her dad bought her the car so he has a say in what goes in it.

Basically Im trying to get laid but have to impress 2 people lol. Im going to be building her a fiberglass box, sitting optop of the rear seat, the whole 55" width, 11.5" deep, and like 14ish" high up the back wall

So 2 subs flared out on each side, amp flushed in the center. this pic the amp is up high but I love how you cant see the wires. I dont get how its in there and wired.

She already has 2 10s and an amp. and wants the box to look like this. I get how to MAKE this, fiberglass and sinking the amp in and such. BUT how do you wire such a thing??

She wants it to be removeable. for like a camping trip or whatever. I just dont get how you recess the amp into the enclosure but still wire it up but keep the boxes air tight.

The box needs to be ported, havent decided as I needed info in this, maybe I was thinking I may need to somehow make it dual chamber and the amp is all sealed off on its own??

I can explain more if need be...

The piece in the middle there is just a trim piece that goes over the actual box and amp board for cosmetics.

You want to make a nice fancy fiberglass enclosure... and then just sit it on the back seat? She wont be very impressed when all her other friends laugh at her, or when a simple fender bender turns into a skull crushing experience.

Be sure to get in her pants before your install kills her.

so you telling this forum that you know how to build the amp rack but you don't know how to get the wires to the amp? you a dam liar. if you really did know how to build that amp rack the wiring would clearly be understood.

Looks pretty straightforward to me. 2 sealed subs on either side, amp rack in the middle, wired as normal. Fancy fiberglassing work done to cover it all as a single peice...that looks like the really hard part.

less your a pro fiberglass craftsman, your better off making it simple, she probably just wants it all shiny and pretty. just take 2 small cheap sealed boxes and buy some 1/4" acrylic panels, paint each inside peice of acrylic like pink or pearl, something girls like, which makes the outside look super shiney, then just use the acrylic panels to build a single large box around the 2 sealed boxes leaving a gap in the middle to recess an amp in between or attach amp to box and allow space of the acrylic outer shell to rise to amp level.

Run all input amp wiring, power and rca's to a quick connect plug with single male/female ends attached to back, she can detach it, reatach it quickly....sure its far from optimal SQ wise but its basically a large shiny box that goes boom, thud...whichever.

cause likely, she'll still never put out. probably using you, if she's really hot, they tend to do that. Get the poon first before you spend the time and money. if nothing else in your game got you laid from her by now, then she's using you cause giving cash gets poon more often than giving bass does. for the time/ money, just rent a ferrari for a couple hours and be done with it. How many chicks can say they gave a BJ in a Ferrari? tell her that, she'll give it up

you are in over your head.

you can't lay boxes on seats, as mentioned, because they will kill passengers. things can be removable, but you have to undo bolts to remove them... that's the deal.

if she wants to remove the box and amp together, you need to make a custom high current wire harness so she can unplug it. you're talking about power, ground, remote, and RCA all in a neat harness. good luck with that.

the trim panels that make everything look flush are removable and the last piece to go on. that is how you hide wires. everything is made as normal, wires exposed and neatly routed, then you make a cover panel with a cutout for the amp. You won't get that amp to flush up like the JL in the pic due to the design. you can expose the plexi innards but it won't be flush, there will be a lip around the opening.

if you have to impress a girl she isn't worth your time. if anything, impress her with conversation and attention, and expect the same back.
