Cleansweep system question?

I would actually recommend returning it and using the MTX RE-Q 5 that way all the signals get cleaned and controlled by one box.

I used a mtx re q original and a jl clean sweep in a accord it was PITA at first. Get the req and it will be easier.

Thanks for the recommendation. I haven't purchased the Cleansweep yet, I am researching the installation today. The MTX RE-Q 5 is less expensive than the Cleansweep which is a bonus. You think it does a better job??

I do, I think it is a bit easier to setup as well and just works better IMO plus I do not know if you knew this or not but the JL you have to use there volume knob you have to set your volume on your head unit calibrate the system and than for the rest of the time you use your system use their little volume knob very annoying. The req just adjusts itself when you turn your head unit volume up.

Thank you very much for your help. I am getting the MTX RE-Q 5 instead of the Cleansweep for my Pontiac G8. I already installed new Polk Audio speakers in the doors and I have a couple amps in the basement, ALPINE 3553 that I am going to use on the door speakers and a PPI PC275 that I will use on a Bazooka ELB112RS subwoofer. A pretty inexpensive installation.
