157 with 3 10's? alpines? kenwood "1000" watt amp? lol i want to see the score sheet what was the scale set at on the audio control or linear x? or better yet what did you use to spike the mic?

two 15" stroker DVC's being pushed by two USA400 amps....thought they were crap but ****...go to http://www.usamps.com.....they're no joke.......inside a three-way MBQuart Q series component set-up...using two 6.5" drivers and a cheesy alpine t-407 for the front stage......i mean this thing looks ugly but hey.....171.9 consistently...who the **** cares????//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Due to insane power drain they're sitting in my garage right now....just running three MBQuart PWD 304's with an alpine 1507....maybe 155 if i'm lucky but once it's comp time i'm going back to those ugly yellow monsters!!!

guys might have seen me at battle of the boom in patchouge NY this past summer in a red saab...the one that on the first note of the sine wave hit 154....big ups to turtle man for all of the hours spent helping me plan this thing!!!!

I love CV strokers and think they are truly amazing, but I find it hard to VERY believe that 2 of them can hit over 170 db's...But if it were true, All I can think of is how stupid team Gates must feel cause they need a lot more than 2 woofers to do the same...

i'm not the only one to do this though.....i've seen the same setup...only with more power going to the amps.....alternator, bigger wire and bigger fuses, etc......and they hit somewhere in the 174 range......the car was built at Cartunes in LI....didn't believe it but saw the read-out and heard (and shortly went deaf after-wards)....i mean this thing eliminates the need for air conditioning....so much air is being moved in this thing

But honestly......Jay from Avenue Sounds....whom has been the biggest guru of car audio i've met takes the prize......i think he's at 200......4 of those new monster JBL GTi's pushed by a colossus amp....and WOW......mine sounds like a stock radio:banghead:

I hate to inform you of this but I don't think those readings are accurate (especially the 200db reading) Its kinda hard to believe because the world record is somewhere in the upper 170's or lower 180's ...this misunderstanding could be due to a mic that doesn't read db levels over 160 db's, I've seen large systems that hit louder than that put up inflated numbers just because of the mic.

Keep it loud!

JELLYDIME

try mid 170's and of those only about 1 outa 30 people who claim that actually do it....but this is better than the vast majority of people that claim 150-mid 160's...yanno its really embarassing to claim 150 and do a 135...if you just think "oh its only 15db" that is a monumental difference......enough that most wont even laugh at you..eheh

wel....at least you guys are informatable.....well.....i hadn't considered your mic concern....but i'm still pretty sure that it is one of the loudest i've ever heard.....when the avenue sounds show takes place this summer i'll be sure to have his car checked out....but anybody who's a car audio enthusiast would love to just hear that truck.....anyway is it a new or old style USA400....the only difference being a built in cross-over.....and how much???? I'm trying to trade some stuff myself due to the fact that I when i state an opinion on a certain woffer, amp, etc i'd like to be talking first hand......so if anybody's interested????
