well "kicken_ass" dont bother postin ur big scores unless you are gonna put at least something to back it up,,,,, cause that would be about as dumb as me saying i scored 185.3 with my stock stereo but i wont tell you what it is.....................

160 is indeed believable with 4 subs...mtx 8000's though? i was doing mid to high 140's with 2 15's in a firebird but it wasnt a spl vehicle it was a sound q car. not dogging him its just that the eclipse amps are not as powerful as some i have seen. my friend does mid 150's with 2 kove armogedon powered buy 2 memphis 1000d's in a regular cab s 10 so anything is possible if you have the power (within reason)

I have an RFX9200 competition rockford unit. 4 rockford fanatic x tweeters and croosovers. 2 4x6 Eclipse coaxials. 2 eclipse 6x9's. Impulse capacitior with a digital t-top. 4- way Rockford distribution block. 500.2 rockford 800 watt amp pumpin my bass to 2 solo baric kickers in a custom built mdf box. a 400.4 rockford 4-channel pumpin my highs to their Xtreme. All dynamted trunk (Xtreme dynamat tripple layer) All 4gauge power and 2 100 amp fuses to keep everything stable. My DB is at about 159.7.

159.7? hahaha with that amp? dood aint no way in hell i believe that maybe a 139.7 but no way a 159.7. A . not enough power B i doubt if you have the cone area. C your subs can handle like 2-3 times more power easily .......

no crap audio guy i am getting a 1100.1 rockford in two weeks . That amp will pump those for days. I am running at 2 ohm right now and my amp is handling it fine.

you have a late 80's firebird eh? or early 90's ...... funny my firebird was an 87 formula with 15's (idw 15) and o0o about 2-4 times the power of your subs.....hehe it was a build to enclosure not a box...it had 2 dynamat kits in it with 2 gallons of bondo and prolly more than that in fiberglass just to seal and deaden everything.... it looked pretty sweet even by todays standards. it would only do a 145..with regular box volume....it took 2nd at usac and iasca world finals '94 and 4th at springbreak nationals and second at mid west shootout (iasca regonal) in 97. spl went up quite a bit when i took away about 3 cubic feet away from the enclosure and went to a 4 ohm sub...149.9.......... not to bad for a "100 watt" car eh?

no crap at least take pictures of it finished first...nothing like the fresh look of mdf........ hehe you coulda at least got some fuzzy carpet to put on it lol... (just being a jerk) it looks pretty good though but that kind of set up is mundayne in a car like that......... and then boasting ..sub in the trunk amp rack over the gas tank....... but mr kickin ass.... how big do you think my enclosure was? hehe
