hookin up an amp

These are the basics:

Run the main power cable down the side of your car that the batt. is on. keep the fuse within 18" of the batt. (I like to place them closer) Besure to protect the wire from sharp edges when passing through the firewall. (Look for a factory plug). Also make sure that when you replace your int. parts not to screw into this wire.

Run the RCA's and remote wire down the oppiste side of the power wire.

As for the ground, make sure you find a good spot. (seat bolt, frame, etc.) If the place you find has paint on it scrap it off to ensure a good connection and after connecting it use some silicone over the screw to keep the metal from rusting. (try to keep your ground as short as possible.

That's the basics.
