Hollow Sound from MOJO?

I Hooked upp all my self....Would it work if I just hooked up two voice coils?
Since each coil is 2ohm, could I just hook up to one side and leave the other unhooked?
no, use both VC's, you do have the positive from one side of the sub connected to the negative on the other side of the sub right?

and then the remaining negative on the first side and the positive on the second side going to the amp....

yea...i rehooked it up and it sound a little deeper now..but it cuts out the bass...itll sound loud and hit hard and then juts go really low and sound like the amp is turned down?

Would it be better just to bring it somewhere?

Try a different amp.

If it sounds better (clearer/more accurate) when you turn the gain down there's a good chance it was clipping or bottoming out when your gains were higher.

Clipping would just make it have a strange, higher pitched sound, and would make it so it doesn't really hit hard anymore.

Bottoming out would have a similar affect but you would hear a sound as if something hard is slapping on something as well.
