Single sub for $250?

What about a SS RL-p12? They go for closer to $300 brand new but I'm sure you can get a used one for much less.

They're good in around a cube sealed, very little space taken and are supposed to have great SQ.

Archie, there are a LOT of options for your application, there is really none that prevail obviously over another as all the subs that have been recommended so far have impervious SQ and are all around your price range.

Really it's up to you, we're just shooting you suggestions.

The RE SE Is a nice driver, however I havn't had experience with them though I am a fan of RE products so I'm sure the SE's are great.

How much power do you plan on running?

Answering that will help greatly.

Thanks!

well I have to buy an amp too. I sold everything when I sold my car so I am starting all over. So I haven't really looked at amps much. If I had to guess though, I would say anywhere from 500-700rms.

Well then the SE would fit perfectly cause IIRC it's rated at 600 or 650 watts.

If your liking the SE go for it, RE has great stuff. Not sure of the price on one though.

whats the feedback on the re se? Top notch? I think when I was really into this a while back, they were one if not the top brand. Same thing now or has someone else popped up?
